Middle and high school history classes have for too long modeled their lectures on the college style “stand and deliver” approach. This session will focus on how teachers can shift the way content is delivered and processed by students. Participants will take part in seeing how inquiry based lesson design can shift student engagement from “sit and get” to “up and active”.
